Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I log into and purchase through the Teaching Strategies bookshop?

Old Bookshop Customers:

If you are a previous customer from the old Teaching Strategies bookshop, you will need to complete a new setup of your account, as your old username is no longer valid:

  1. Enter the email address and password associated with your old account on the 'Login' page.
  2. Log into the email account you entered in the previous steps and find the email to finish your activation by clicking the link. It may arrive in your spam/junk folder.
  3. On the 'Enter New Password' screen, enter and confirm a new password for your account.

Please note: If you are having issues logging in with your old Bookshop account information, please contact a Customer Support Specialist at 800.637.3652 Option 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.

First-Time Customers:

  1. To create your account, click 'Login' at the top right of the bookshop page
  2. Select the 'New Customer? Create account' option on the login screen
  3. Follow the prompts to confirm your email address and setup your password.

Please note: For first-time customers with tax exemption status, you will need to enter your Tax ID number during your account creation to receive the exemption on your order.

Once your checkout is complete, you will receive a summary of your order and a confirmation number. When the order ships, you will receive another email with tracking information.

2. Can I order via Purchase Order in the bookshop?

At this time, bookshop purchases can only be made with credit or debit card. If you need to use a purchase order, please contact your regional sales team. You can find their contact information at https://teachingstrategies.com/contact/sales/.
 

3. I can’t find GOLD®, The Creative Curriculum®, Digital Resources, or professional development on the bookshop. How can I order these products?

Because these products are digital subscriptions, they are currently unable to purchase through our bookshop. To purchase a digital subscription, please contact your regional sales team. You can find their contact information at https://teachingstrategies.com/contact/sales/.
 

4. How can I track my order?

When the order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. Please reference your order number when emailing or calling.
 

5. Can I place an international order through the bookshop?

All international orders must be placed through a sales representative. To make an international purchase, please contact the international sales team. You can find their contact information at https://teachingstrategies.com/contact/sales/international/.
 

6. How can I obtain a receipt?

Please email support@teachingstrategies.com or call a Customer Support Specialist at 800.637.3652 Option 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. Please reference your order number when emailing or calling.
 

7. How can I make a return?

Teaching Strategies guarantees your complete satisfaction. If you are not happy with your order within 45 days of the shipment date, you may return the products in their original condition (unmarked, not damaged) for any reason, for a full refund (less shipping charges). All video and software sales are final. Teaching Strategies is not responsible for returned items that are lost or misdirected.

To return an item, please email support@teachingstrategies.com or call a Customer Support Specialist at 800.637.3652 Option 3 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and return-to address. Packages received without a valid RA# are not guaranteed to be accepted and may be returned to sender. The RA# will help us process your return quickly and accurately and it is the only way to ensure you will receive proper credit for your return.

8. When will my order ship?

Typically, in-stock items are processed and shipped within 2–3 business days (Monday through Friday). We do not ship on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Orders from customers who have selected “next day”, “2-day”, and “3-day” shipping take priority. All other orders are shipped within 2–3 business days. We do not offer Saturday or Sunday delivery.
 

9. What are your shipping rates?

Domestic shipping rates as of June 22, 2011; Includes Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico

Rates for Most Items; Excludes Videos and CD-ROMs:

10. I need to change the shipping address on my order. What should I do?

11. My order arrived damaged/my order is missing items. What should I do?

If Teaching Strategies ships the wrong product or if your product arrives damaged, we will accept the return at our expense and credit your account or ship the proper product immediately upon receipt of the returned items.

12. How do I log in to GOLD® from the bookshop?

The easiest way to log into GOLD® is to navigate to TeachingStrategies.com and select the blue “Login” button in the top right corner.

From the bookshop you can also scroll to the bottom of your screen and select the “GOLD Login” link from the Support section in the footer.
 

13. Does Teaching Strategies charge sales tax?

Teaching Strategies charges sales tax when applicable. If appropriate, sales tax will be added automatically to your online order.
