Best of Nonfiction Children's Books for Kindergarten - The Creative Curriculum


Non-fiction “stories” help children build foundational skills to better absorb and interpret informational texts in later years. Our newest collection of nonfiction titles consists of original stories by Teaching Strategies authors that touch on a wide variety of nonfiction topics that are relevant to children’s daily lives. Each book includes a comprehensive vocabulary glossary to help build literacy and language skills in an intentional and developmentally appropriate manner.

These nonfiction titles are specifically aligned to the additional Teaching Guides for The Creative Curriculum® for Kindergarten, but can also be used independently, in any kindergarten classroom.
